Today I am not going to talk about affiliate marketing. Let us talk about something light and pleasant. How about my favorite healthy eating? Yes, I like healthy eating. Vegetarian salad is one of my favorites. It is easy and straightforward to make your vegetarian salad. Ten years ago, I had the nickname salad man, a name given to me by the customers at IBM headquarter in Markham, Ontario, Canada. Yesterday, I made a veggie salad for myself and Julie. It is pretty simple, and I will share it with you. Let us start.
Main Ingredients.
- Romaine lettuce
- Iceberg lettuce
- Spring mix
- Chic beans
- .Red beans
It is essential to wash lettuce very clean; repeat washing a couple of times to ensure they are thoroughly cleaned. Then cut them into small bite sizes for easy eating.
Now, let us have the following ready:
- sliced tomatoes
- sliced cucumbers
- sliced red onion
- sliced red peppers
- sliced green peppers
- sliced red peppers
I use the following salad dressings:
- Red wine vinegar
- Olive oil
- Balsamic salad dressing
- Thousand Island salad dressing
- Caesar salad dressing
- Italian salad dressing
Method
The next step is to mix all ingredients in a big bowl with the dressing you choose. The vegetarian salad is now ready to serve. Remember not to mix the salad dressings with your veggies until it is about to do. It would make your salad look fresh and crispy to eat. Otherwise, it would become soaked.
For healthy eating, it is best to skip the regular dressings. They contain too many calories and other additives.
Benefits of Vegetables
A lot of antioxidant foods are from vegetables. e.g., broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, and peppers are all excellent choices. Choose vegetables rich in colors such as tomatoes, carrots, peppers, cauliflowers, broccoli, etc... These colorful veggies have a lot of phytonutrients which are nutrients found in their skins. They give your food charming colors, flavors, and scents.
Let me repeat that the benefits of raw vegetables are their content of nutrients. There are more nutrients and vitamins in raw veggie salads. In contrast, the cooking process destroys some nutrients, especially for people's vitality in cooked vegetables. That is why after taking fresh salad for one week, you feel good in your body being much energized. You can feel your body is light and swift in action.
