AI at the Ping Pong Table

  Yesterday at the community center, I played a little ping pong with my senior friends. As usual, the games were relaxed and friendly. Most of the time we were chatting and catching up with each other. During one of the breaks, my friend Jimmy—whom I have known since around 2012 through ping pong—suddenly asked me a question. “David, do you use AI?” I smiled and said, “Yes, I do.” I told him that I often use AI to help me write blog posts and emails. Sometimes it helps polish my English, sometimes it helps organize my thoughts, and sometimes it simply saves me time when I want to write something clearly. Jimmy listened with great interest. Then he told me something that surprised me a little. He said he had recently started trying AI himself. In his words, “It’s amazing. The speed is unbelievable.” We both laughed.
