On August 5, 2021, Quora began allowing contributors to monetize their content. In addition, the platform launched a subscription service called Quora+, which will enable subscribers to pay a $5 monthly fee or a $50 annual subscription to access content that any creator chooses to put behind a paywall. A couple of months back, in September 2021, Quora+ launched a new subscription program for Quora users to support CONTENT creators, access more content, and unlock a premium ad-free version of Quora. Subscribers pay $5/month or $50/year. 

You can start your subscription with a 30-day free trial. Revenue from Quora+ subscriptions is shared among participating creators. When a creator enrolls in the Quora+ earnings program, they become eligible to receive a share of the readers' subscription fee.

What is required to start earning with Spaces?

To qualify for monetization, Spaces must meet the following requirements:

• The Space owner must verify residence in an eligible country. At this time, earnings programs are only available in the English language version of Quora to users who reside in one of the listed countries.

• The Space needs to earn a minimum of USD 10 before the owner becomes eligible to receive payouts, following a formal review of the Space by Quora moderation. The review process can take up to 3 business days.
• The owner needs to accept the terms and conditions and connect a bank account through Stripe.
• If your Space did not meet the Spaces' earnings policies, it could be resubmitted for review after changes are made. Space owners can contact us here with a link to their Space for re-consideration.

How much will I earn?

Getting started and making money is usually slow.  It would be a steady growth as subscribers increase in number. Each creator will have different earnings based on the following factors. 

• The number of subscribers among the followers 
• The engagement degree of subscribers with a creator's content
• The number of people who join on a creator's content. 
• The number of creator profiles and/or Space

Writing high-quality content consistently remains the best way to grow earnings. Earnings always accrue to the original author of a piece of content. 

How do I start earning?

If you are ready to enroll in a Space earnings program, follow these steps:

• Navigate to your Space's "Settings" page.
• Under "Monetization," click "Earnings programs overview" and verify your location. Please note that monetization is only available to residents in eligible countries. Select your monetization program.
• A Space's earnings will depend on the monetization program it is enrolled in.
